Does anyone know if the ship caption rotation is posted anywhere on the information jungle?  I am going on the Celebrity Beyond this November-December and everyone on our Facebook group is asking if Captain Kate would be our Captain.  I figured I would ask the group that has all the answers (most of the time).

Ive been wondering if there was a site to track Sr. Crew. We had a BLAST with the Hotel director on Symphony in March during our 12 NT TA and wondered if they move around or do these Sr. officers generally stay put. I’ve heard the Captains rotate between 2 per ship, but generally stayed with their same ships.

I found an exceptional thread on that OTHER Critic Cruising Forum that someone gets feedback continually and tracks which RCL Captains are current on different sailings and has an entire list of the 2 Captains for each of RCL Ships. They do rotate between 2 captains on a 8-12 week rotation depending on schedules, etc.  Not sure posting the direct link is allowed here but you can go there and search “Current Captain” under the Royal Caribbean list of Forum Topics. It has 50+ pages of updates since 2018.

Current There was nothing there for Celebrity however and no postings about Captain Kate mentioning if she was still on Beyond or not.  A person posted they took a picture with her on there back in February.

Today, I say farewell to Celebrity. 💙
I've spent the last 22 years on 11 ships in the Royal Caribbean Group, from 2nd Officer to Captain. I have seen some of the most beautiful places, met inspiring and wonderful people, and had opportunities to live my 12 year-old dream out loud!

This video serves as a small glimpse into moments that I am forever grateful for.
It is memories of those who made an impact on this journey and who will live forever in my heart.

You might be wondering why am I leaving.
Simply put, life has an incredible way of reminding us what's important and changing up priorities.
I've recently had some big life changes, and this just happens to be one of those.

Are my sailing days over? Absolutely not!
I've got too much salt in my veins to leave the sea behind.

So consider this...
the start of the Captain's Log: New Seasons!

EDIT:

Adding the RCB post as well!

I saw this too... maybe (if/when she's ready) she would return to RCG especially since her husband also returned to RCG back in 2022 as Fleet Chief Engineer-Global Marine Technical Services. It appears he had left RCG when Virgin Voyages launched, but has since returned to Royal.

I read that she said as a Captain, she was 3 months on and 3 months off. Every time she's off and with her husband, she said it was like a honeymoon for them. Her beloved cat also sadly passed last year. Best of luck to her and her husband!
