Cruise Compass?

Recommended Posts

I would think popularity of the ship might have something to do with it, but lack of time might also play a part. I'm pretty sure I have every Cruise Compass for every ship I've been on since 2012, but I have not scanned any of them because I only have a single page scanner at home and don't want to use the scanner my company provides, so in turn I just haven't scanned any.

I actually like to be surprised once we get on board.  Never felt like looking at a compass before hand, so I never thought to save or post them.  That's my 2 cents.  I know some people are uber planners however, so to each their own.

I'm one of those uber planners you speak of. I don't like surprises.

I don't mind surprises, but just like my disney trips,  i love to plan the cruises and pour over the compasses.  It makes my trip start early and last longer!   But im like tiny260.. i don't get around to scanning and posting them.  Kind of like how i love reading everyone's reviews but don't write mine! I think we all have that, to some degree. And that's not a bad thing to have!

Since I generally have always planned the family vacation, this one included, sans the boys this time, I just want it to perfect. Not necessarily for myself, but for my wife and kids. They don't enjoy the obsessive part of it, but they sure do enjoy the results!

Just curious as to why certain ships have more cruise compasses posted than others? I l know that you can only post the compasses that are sent in, but just wondering why the disparity.

I think it definitely skews towards ships that are based in North America and the more popular ships tend to get more attention.

It could be worse.  You could have CDOPV (Compulsive Disorder for Obsessive Planning of Vacations) which is the same disease but in proper alphabetical order!

lol, that's hilarious.  My 200+ DVD's are organized alphabetically, and people give me crap about it, but I don't care.
