I collect all the model ships I’ve been on and this cruise they were all sold out. I was devastated and in tears. can anyone help me out? If cruising on Ovation of the seas soon. I’m happy to pay extra. it’s too expensive to cruise again with 4 people just to buy a model ship . Thank you so much. I’m in Sydney Australia. PatsFanBrian Posted March 28, 2023 Report Share Posted March 28, 2023 This topic has come up recently. It's very disappointing that Royal doesn't sell the models online. I decided last year (while on Explorer) to start collecting them for a newly finished basement in our house. My kids ended up getting me two of them on eBay for Christmas and Birthday. They told me they weren't cheap. They arrived in the original packaging never having been opened (shipped from Florida). That means some entrepreneurial crew on these ships are buying them up and reselling on eBay at a nice profit. Spoke to the retail manager on board and told me they have supply issues with their souvenirs supplier. At the ridiculous prices they sell them, you’d think they’d have heaps. I’m the same. Started a display and need Ovation. I’ve done 3 cruises with Ovation & now need to try other classes of Royal. Won’t be back on Ovation (for a while).
