Comped Cruise from Casino Royale

When you earn a comped interior 7 day cruise (for becoming Prime), is that good for ANY 7 day cruise OR is there a list you have to select from?  Is there a value limit or is the only requirement that it's a 7 day interior room?

Thanks

Any cruise on a ship that has been sailing for year, so no list. $500 trade in value on a cruise that doesn't fit into the parameters. For "free" it will be any interior on up-to a 7-night cruise. But it must be booked and sailed by the end of the prime year, in this case March 31st, 2024.

Holidays sailings are blackout dates. It can be UP to 7 day cruise and has to be on a ship that has been at least 366 days in service.

can it be retroactively applied to a cruise already booked?  If yes: if a suite is prebooked, can you apply the free prime cruise and "just" pay an upgrade fee?  (I think I saw this addressed in another thread, but the search function here is confoundingly specific and I can't seem to enter the right search terms)

You can, but the casino would need to reprice it using the current casino rate on that room. Sometimes the casino rates aren't combinable with other promotions that are running or any other discounts you would be eligible for.

In the old days this is exactly what I would do.  I reserved a cruise that I wanted and then used the certificate to reprice with a casino discount.  These days it’s much more difficult to do that b/c the prices rise to a point that it renders the  casino certificate virtually useless.   It’s a good strategy but isn’t as easy to execute now as it once was.
