Djkozware
I know there is rules about power strips. But this is technically a power brick that happens to have extra outlets. I just don’t know how Royal would classify it or if it would be ok to bring.
Traveling Mike
I cannot say for sure; I am sure someone else can, but I seen someone in front of me getting on my April cruise have one similar to that taken away.
Villageidiot
I used this one last month with no issues. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJWLLDB?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 DoomSlayer

I’d bet that it gets “confiscated” since it’s more like a power strip. Even though it may not have surge protection, staff at the port will probably be more cautious. Your best bet is a charger that only contains the USB ports. Anker makes several that include both USB-A and USB-C ports. Good Luck. stevendom57
Mr. Green
I think anything with a cord has a risk of being confiscated since they are not going to take to time to see if it's a surge protector or not. I used this on our last cruise with no issues. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082FJXVW6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 DoomSlayer
Al Miller
I think that it has a good chance of not being allowed. They are not going to take the time to let you "Prove" that it is just a charging station. The fact that it looks like a surge protector is probably enough for it to get flagged. Who knows though. Stuff slips through all the time. Something with this form factor will generally always make it through. https://a.co/d/18G9uuW DoomSlayer
DoomSlayer
Anything with a cord seems to draw attention. I have used a simple power block with two USB ports for a while now and never have had questions about it. I just bought another one today from target for my kids since they will be in a second cabin next to ours for our spring break cruise this week https://www.target.com/p/power-gear-3-outlet-grounded-cube-tap-with-2-usb-ports-2-4a-surge-245j-white/-/A-81908351?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000086347372&CPNG=PLA_Home%2BImprovement%2BShopping_Traffic_Local_Traffic|Home%2BImprovement_Ecomm_Home&adgroup=SC_Home%2BImprovement_Electrical+Supplies&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT_GROUP&network=g&device=m&location=9027222&targetid=pla-1462871864544&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfYVg55KdpIMCy1blFnPMTTVF&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfYVg55KdpIMCy1blFnPMTTVF&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6Lzm5MDX_QIVCBXUAR2izQfkEAQYByABEgJMefD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Al Miller
WAAAYTOOO
I had a multi-outlet block with no cord at all that was confiscated recently. It has both pronged and USB ports. Anything with a cord will almost certainly be confiscated if they see it. Al Miller, DoomSlayer and PPPJJ-GCVAB 1
