PRMLVM
Has anyone been on one of the Star Trek charter cruises and would like to share what they are like? I'm curious about the kinds of events (I've not seen Compasses from any). What kinds of activities? Do people dress up nightly? Also, are traditional RC benefits/points/dining options etc honored (and accumulated)? Is the casino open? So curious!
Jill
I follow Marc Walker Cruise Director on Facebook and he’s currently on Navigator for the Star Trek cruise and then The 80’s cruise. From what he’s posted, there are no Royal Caribbean shows/entertainment. The charter brings their own. I know your loyalty perks (free drinks, internet, photo etc) are not available on charter cruises. Not sure if you earn loyalty points. I don’t think you do. Hopefully someone will chime in on that. They do look like a lot of fun though. William Shatner was onboard for this one. Next year it moves back to a Florida port. Zacharius
I'm a Star Trek geek and this is definitely on my bucket list. I just forget about it every year, including this one. My wife has already told me "go for it, loser"...maybe one of these days. nickpants, FSUFAN and WAAAYTOOO

I'm not really a "dress up" kind of guy so I don't know if I would, but I would love to see people dressed up as: TessFromFlorida, PRMLVM and CrimsonCruiser 1

We signed up for their cruise newsletter (https://startrekthecruise.com/mailing-list/) ) so that it stays on our radar; just trying to get the timing right. From what I've read, you have to follow "your" group's plans/announcements, generally by following their social media (whatever group you may be a fan of). RC doesn't announce/advertise for them. If I'm wrong, I'd appreciate an update though. FireFishII

There are definitely a ton on their cruise info website. I was wondering if it was a fair mix of "cosplay" attendees as well as "conference/lecture" attendees with Q&A's, stories, etc from the actors/writers. I'd imagine nonstop trivia contests! Looking forward to hearing from those who've experienced it!
GatorCruiser
Mercy did you look at that guest list for the current cruise. Some major trek actors on that ship
WhoCruiser
Several very good friends of mine are on it now and having a great time. More than half generally re-up for the next voyage while still on board the current one. KristiZ
Larry Muster
I've been on 3 of the 6 StarTrek cruises offered by Entertainment Cruise Productions. They (ECP) did an amazing job converting the ship into a StarTrek theme, rebranding venues, totally transforming the elevators etc. The traditional royal entertainment staff is virtually nonexistent as well are the traditional Royal activities. All are replaced by Trek events hosted by ECP. The challenge is the price. Trek cruises are 2X+ more than the same itineraries, but it's pretty clear why. The Celebs come with a pricetag.
