Kathleen
Is there such thing as Star Class boarding/suite boarding in Seattle. We’ve sailed from there once (pre Covid) and we arrived early and when boarding began there was no real order. Does there exist a Star/suite priority in Seattle. Sea Squirrel
At the front of the terminal, there are Star attendants at a check-in stand (purple star flag). You’ll take your bags with you and check-in with them and they will take care of your bags. Then they will call your genie, walk you through security and straight up to meet with your genie. Your genie will get your seapass cards and walk you on to the ship as soon as the clear to board is given. Not sure how you’ll be getting to the terminal but it is my understanding that if you use Uber/Lyft, you’ll be dropped off about a 1/4 mile away in the ride share lot and will need to walk with your bags to the Star check-in. Shuttles and taxis were permitted to drop off at the front when we sailed last Aug. Kathleen and WAAAYTOOO 1
MLH
Correct on the uber dropping you off. Taxis are allowed to drop off closer. The Star banner is also near the wheelchair waiting area so there will be lots of people. Just make sure you bypass that line to get to the Star Class podium. Kathleen
Thanks all. We have ubered to that port in the past and as you said we’ were dropped at the ride share stand. It was not a big deal to us but will probably take a taxi next time just for simplicity sake. We have not sailed Star Class out of here so this is very helpful. Villageidiot
If you are flying in/out of Seattle be sure to take advantage of the port valet service. Your bags are taken straight to the airport from the ship and on to the final destination. Overweight bag fees do not apply. It is a free service from the Port of Seattle. Travel Addict
When you use Port Valet, do you pay the airline your checked bag fees, or do you pay those to port valet upon booking the service? (flying Delta)
