Got dropped off at Six with no star class banner. Porter was a star class one, Genie met us shortly after we arrived. Found out there will be four genies this cruise, not sure why, so our genie will have two rooms, one being the Royal suite. He positioned us to be one of the first to board at 10:30 Took us to finished our muster drill, then dropped us off at 270 for lunch. He went to meet the other star class passengers. The lady at 270 said they only had zero coke. An officer saw our star class card and immediately had her get me a regular coke while he talked with us. Gonna be a star class cruise! Ours were black and our Genie only handed them out by request because there was nothing about them that differentiated you as an SC guest. And i understood that. Hubby is working, can’t say much because him working is why I’m sitting on the bed looking at the ocean. Genie has been wonderful, just a WhatsApp away. Room steward is great and is training someone, who is going to make a really good suite room steward. I prepared myself for less service and being blown away by awesome service. We saw the show last night, which was ok. We see We will Rock you tomorrow. The neat thing were our seats, were the best in the house! Now a bit of gossip. A few weeks ago, a room steward got off in Florida for a bit of R&R. He never came back, so no one fleet wide could get off the next week, anywhere. The next two weeks no room steward from Anthem can get off at any port. Next week will be their last week. I guess the guy decided to stay in the US, which could be a good deal for him. It’s been said before, and it’s pretty much moot at this point, but I’ve gotten the same statement from all my genies about possibly waiting for them if they are escorting another family. Both Oasis cruises we had to wait a few minutes for Derick to board. When disembarking, we walked off with another family as well. You had better luck than us in the casino.
