Hharris1997 Posted February 9, 2023 Report Share Posted February 9, 2023 Question: When I booked this cruise, Explorer of the Seas for June 11-18th, the iternary shows Day 1 Venice, 2 Bay of Montenegro, Kotor (Cruise day) and Montenegro 1-7pm, 3. Corfu, 4. Athens, 5. Mykonos, 6. Argostoli, 7, Cruise day, 8. Venice. When I log into our Royal app there is no time in Montenegro? It shows Venice, Cruise, Corfu, Athens, Mykonos, Argostoli, Cruise, Venice. No mention of Montenegro. You can book excursions there on the app. If anyone can clarify. FYI "Venice" is actually the Royal Caribbean new cruise terminal at Porto Corsini near Ravenna, IT (nowhere near Venice). Kotor and Kotor Bay is the shore excursion for Montenegro. Early in the morning you will enter the most southern Fjord in Europe and alot to see from the ship before docking or taking launches to Kotor (get up and have breakfast early then get on deck for views) Look on Google Maps... https://www.google.com/maps/place/Kotor,+Montenegro/@42.4243077,18.7661987,1143m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x134c33063d70c91b:0x7a73f15e212e9306!8m2!3d42.424662!4d18.771234!16zL20vMDFwam4w Because it is a small historical city center no long distant excursions are necessary (you are only spending 6 hours here). Just Google top 10 things to do in Kotor. You can see the boat style excursions, hiking to old fortress, etc. Also look on YouTube of what adventure travelers are doing in Kotor. I would much rather use a smaller company. This is our plan at the other ports, as far as using a private company to drive us from place-to-place. If anyone is interested in joining us the tour is 75 euros pp. Just go to PKTRAVELGREECE.COM. Click on Athens full day tours and check out the tour. There's a link with our ship and day of tour that you can click on to join. We chose PK because of the reviews they received on CC and Trip Advisor.
