Terri_FL
I am a stock holder with 1000 shares of RCCL. I tried for weeks to get my $100 SBC for a Celebrity cruise we took in Sept. I submitted the request online with all the documents required and nothing. I sent emails to the benefits emails address. I was asked to respond to the email with the appropriate documentations. Again I waited and nothing. I tried again and never received a response at all. I called the benefits resource dept and they couldn’t help me nor could they transfer me to a person directly in the benefits dept. I had no other means to get this resolved. I have another cruise scheduled soon and don’t want to go through this dead end promise of a OBC. Does anyone out here have a suggestion for me? wordell1
I make a PDF of my last statement and email shareholderbenefit@rccl.com I usually get in very quickly. Make sure to include the cruise info and reservation number.
Templecruiser
And the documents has to have your name on it. My first try was rejected because of that. Sent with name and got credit in about a weeks time after.
billdauterive
It sounds like you sent information after your cruise. You need to send in the documentation BEFORE your cruise. I would send it in for your upcoming cruise right now. They say send it in 3 weeks before, but I always send it in way before that. I usually send in a batch of all my outstanding cruises when the nearest one is about 2 months away. I just recently did this for all my upcoming cruises (the latest one is still almost a year out) and received the credit for all within a couple of days. There is usually not any confirmation other than the auto reply email when you send it, so just keep checking your cruise planner for the funds over the next few days. I always email to shareholderbenefit@rccl.com with a brief summary and attach the filled out shareholder form and redacted brokerage statement. I've never tried the online form. Pattycruise
When I send by email (see email in above thread) I did receive a reply once with "you forgot to fill out something" (not those words exactly). Turns out I did not submit the correct page from stock account. I cannot immagine why, if you sent multiple requests you received nothing. If it was a comped casino cruise you cannot utilize the shareholder feture for OBC. Maybe try this page and see if you can find an answer.https://www.rclinvestor.com/contact-us/faqs/shareholder-benefit/ ChessE4

Three cruises ago and two ago I used scanned documents and form via e-mail. Had an answer within days. Upcoming did same, and had answer in less than a week. wordell1
FloatyBoaty
I have used the online form for my last three (or 4?) cruises and get an updated Guest Invoice from Royal with a cover page “Dear Shareholder…” via email in 3-5 days. The OBC is in my account when the email arrives.
AshleyDillo
I know the stockholder OBC doesn't work on comp cruises .so if you booked through Casino Royale it may not have been accepted
Terri_FL
Thank you all for responding, however I did make a PDF file of my stock statement, highlighting all the pertinent info they asked for, started submitting at 3 weeks prior to cruise debarkation. I never heard anything at all once I submitted the online request. Tried by email several times and also got no where. I work with contracts daily so I am accustomed to following directions. I do not believe this was an error on my part. I was looking to hear if someone heard of a system glitch perhaps. I will try again in June. Hopefully it goes smoothly. BrianB
I printed out the copy of the Shareholder Benefit Request form and made multiple copies. Each cruise, I fill in one form per cruise (if on a back to back) and email each completed request with a copy of my brokerage statement page that has the Royal shares listed. The page has my name and date and I black out my account number with a sharpie. The date must be within 90 days of the cruise. I usually email my request about a week before my cruise. I never combine requests and always submit a copy of my brokerage statement with each one. Usually I will receive an automated email response within a few hours or by the next day from Shareholder Services acknowledging receipt of the request. If I do not receive the automated response by the next day…I resend the email. Sometimes things just don’t go through for any number of reasons. Then, sometimes I will receive an email copy of an Amenity Confirmation showing the OBC has been applied. Or, I will receive an updated Cruise Confirmation Receipt showing the additional OBC. If the request is denied, I get an email advised me the benefit is not combinable on this particular cruise. ChessE4 and SebagoSue

That's the minimum time frame, not the required time frame. I have it applied to cruises years from now. If they don't like something it's better to get it figured out now rather that in June when you don't have time to get it straightened out for a July sailing. Riley
There is a phone number for shareholder services to call them directly. Try 954-628-9325 to speak with someone.
tjcruisers
Only did it once so far, filled in the request form and had a copy of our stock statement. I didn't use the web link to submit but submitted via email shareholderbenefit@rccl.com. At the time there was a thread on stock OBC and many sugggested using the email as opposed to the weblink. Interesting when we call the stockholder benefit number, they made the same recommendation
Terri_FL
Yes, I got no where calling the phone number. No help at all. Told me to resubmit via email. I tried four times and nothing. I'm cruising on June 26th so June 5th I will try again. I hope to get it this time. Ive lost a ( boat) load of money as RCCL has. I thought they were not for filling their shareholder benefits due to the pandemic. Not the case, I just fell through the cracks I guess... mistertomatohead
You’ve still got plenty of time. I booked a Celebrity cruise a few days before sailing and was getting worried. I was on the ship with a copy of the stock statement and visited guest services. They had to contact the shoreside team. The next day, I got the OBC. I received the email and a notice outside my cabin. This was only my second Celebrity Cruise. I got it pretty quickly for the first one in December which was submitted online with a statement screenshot (JPG) of just the page with the holdings. BrianB
@Terri_FL… @mistertomatoheadmakes a good point. I have seen passengers on board at guest services or with the Loyalty Ambassador with issues regarding their Shareholder OBC. Guest services will contact shoreside and confirm your eligibility for the benefit. Then it should be applied. That’s seems to be the last resort.
