IZUMI reservation using the 3 rest. dining plan?

I have seen conflicting information so I wanted to get responses from anyone who has recently sailed on an Oasis class ship?  Can Izumi evening dining reservation be made at the promenade kiosk or Chops or do we have to go to Izumi directly?

We are on Harmony in Jan. 2023.  Thank you for clarifying this issue for me.

I was on Oasis 2 weeks ago and for Izumi you need to go there in person. 

While there you can book all the other venues.

It is better if you want Izumi to go there. I was recently on Harmony and while if you go to the dining kiosk on the promenade, they can book Izumi, any other speciality restaurant will require you to go to Izumi.

I've always gotten the feeling that Izumi was on a different reservation system.  On a recent sailing, I observed the dining crew at Chops having to pick up the phone for my Izumi reservations.  For Giovanni's, he just entered the reservation on the computer before him.  On another sailing, my friends and I were told to go to Izumi to book the reservations there.

My experience has been that while the other restaurants can book Izumi, it requires them to call to do so. When Izumi is helping folks who walk in to book, they may not be able to take that phone call immediately.
