I've always flown in and just taken an Uber, so I'm not much help with parking. Are there any hotels that will allow you to park there and shuttle to the port? Yes, it costs more than the off site places, but the convenience factor is so much more important. For your parents, I think not having to deal with a shuttle will be worth the cost.
