400North
Hey guys. New to the forum! We have back to back cruises booked on Oasis and then Grandure in February. (I know, quite the ship contrast but it suited our vacation days). I have a couple questions regarding parking at the Port Of Miami. 1. It looks like Oasis is out of terminal A and Grandure out of terminal G. Is there a preferred location at the port to park that is somewhat between the two terminals or should we just park as close to terminal A or G as possible? 2. Can we make a parking reservation at the Port Of Miami or is it a first come first serve basis? If the latter, is there usually any issues getting a parking spot? Thanks for anyone’s insight! Susie
Terminal A is a first come first serve service. Plans to park before noon. It filled up quickly for terminal A. I cannot answer about Terminal G. Neesa
Xtentions
Terminal G is also first come first serve. We sailed on Grandeur in November and Terminal A was full according to signage and they were directing folks to Terminal G to park. I believe there are shuttles between the two terminals. twangster
You can't walk to terminal A so pick one and shuttle. This email was received the day before the cruise: ***************************************************************************************************** Dear Guest, We’re looking forward to welcoming you on board tomorrow! It’s extremely important to arrive during your pre-selected arrival time on boarding day. Space in the terminal can only accommodate a specific number of guests, so it's critical that you adhere to your arrival time! Those who arrive sooner will be turned away to avoid an overcrowding of guests at the terminal and asked to return during their scheduled time. COMPLETE ONLINE CHECK-IN If you haven’t already selected a time yet, we kindly ask you to please visit our app and complete your online check in. BEFORE LEAVING HOME Print your luggage tags (found in your Vacation Documents) and secure them to your bags. Then, once you arrive in the terminal, keep all of your travel documents – including your mobile or printed SetSail Pass – in hand. You'll need these items from the moment you arrive to the port all the way to boarding the ship, so don’t pack them away in your luggage! PORT & PARKING INFORMATION PortMiami currently has construction at both the bridge and tunnel entrances, so please plan for construction-related traffic delays. Parking in Terminal A opens for embarking guests at 10 AM. If the parking in Terminal A fills up, the port staff will direct you to where you can drop off your luggage before heading to overflow parking. We'll have complimentary shuttles to take you to Terminal A for boarding. Locals should plan to be dropped off or use a ride-share service if available. If you need driving directions to PortMiami, you can find them here and you can find parking information ahead of time here. © 2022 Royal Caribbean International. Royal Caribbean Intl. 1050 Caribbean Way Miami, FL 33132 www.royalcaribbean.com ***************************************************************************************************** I parked in terminal A just before 10am. Then I received this yesterday at 2pm once I was already on board: ***************************************************************************************************** ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS Dear Guest, We’re looking forward to welcoming you onboard for our Oasis of the Seas December 18th, 2022 sailing! Before you arrive to the cruise terminal, we have an important update to share. When you arrive to the port today, please make sure you’ve arrived at the correct terminal – Terminal A – where Oasis of the Seas is located. There, you may drop off your travel party and luggage. Unfortunately, the parking garage in Terminal A is full, so our Port Agents and Pier Staff will direct you to another parking garage. After you park, we’ll provide you with complimentary shuttle service back to Terminal A for check-in. To ensure the smoothest boarding process, we kindly ask that you arrive to the cruise terminal only during your selected arrival time. Arriving earlier may have you turned away until your selected time. Lastly, if you haven’t done so already, please complete your online check-in via the Royal Caribbean App or online at www.royalcaribbean.com/booked. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. See you soon! Sincerely, Royal Caribbean International *****************************************************************************************************
