Seafarer
From what I can gather, AT&T has a partner agreement with mobile phone provider Liberty VI in the US Virgin Islands and it does not require the add-on International Day Pass. Can someone comment/confirm that they connected to Liberty VI while there and were not charged for International service by AT&T. I Have read to be careful not to connect to the BVI towers while up at Neptune's Lookout on St. John.
Matt
I use Cricket (owned by AT&T) and it works just fine in USVI without any special additional plan Seafarer
teddy
We have ATTs Unlimited Extra plan and have used it in St Thomas with no extra. charges. Seafarer
Zacharius
USVI is considered domestic (as it should) by AT&T. I've never had any issue in my multiple trips there, either on St. Thomas, St. Croix, or St. John. Seafarer

twangster
A decade ago AT&T had their own towers on the 3 USVI. I can't imagine they've given up their fiber to the island and their towers.

Verizon is now covered through partnerships. While they don't have their own towers they have agreements in place with the other company that has towers in the USVI. If nothing has changed in the last 10 years I was involved with the upgrade that put the cellular upgrade in place so that Verizon could offer home type coverage in the USVI. Going back before that and Verizon home coverage was not included and it often ended in significant fees.

bcarney
Can't speak for the USVIs, but we used AT&T in Roatan and Mexico last week. att.com/RoamLatAm

Rogillioville
Just because I have something available doesn't mean you will. We all have different plans and access to international and US territory can differ from plan to plan. You must check with your provider to verify for sure. PRO TIP - use the chat feature and take screenshots of their answers incase they tell you wrong.
