Aside from using a Travel Agent (TA), folks who are Crown and Anchor Society (CAS) members sometimes call their customer service line instead of the main RCL line.

My TA recently told me she routinely had to wait up to 2 hours to reach cruise lines and other travel providers.

I don't know if there will be any sort of workaround. I used the casino number and still waited 77min yesterday to connect to someone. I put in a request through my TA on Mon, and I still have not heard back from her.........granted she just took over for my old MEI TA, so maybe I am low man on the totem pole. But it seems like, based off the fact Royal just broke another record for bookings, everything is backed up. We all know Royal's IT/infrastructure isn't the best. 

Not just that but I also had a very long wait to talk to a Best Buy rep, I gave up after 90min and used their chat feature which connected in less than 15min.

While trying to get a resolution of why Royal is not honoring my cruise certificate from the casino, (which is  still completely unresolved), I was on hold waiting for the next agent, for an hour a couple days ago.  Just for giggles, I picked up another phone, called the same number, and was talking to a real person in just two minutes, while the first phone was still hearing their next agent rhetoric.😕
