Thanks No, he doesn't need anything. I do recommend that he attend the meet and greet on the first night. I would stop by after you get aboard and find out when it is. On Allure in April the meet up was in the afternoon (2-5pm) and for several cruises I was watching before ours, that was the case as well. The teens just sort of find a little group and hang out with them for the most part - it is less about the organized activities and more about just finding some people to do things with. For our April cruise, we reached out on our roll call and found some other teens (parents posted about them) who had similar ages and interests and we all met up together before the official meet up so the kids could go in together. That ended up being the crew that my oldest gelled with the best - although they also picked up a few additional friends once on the ship.
