Bob Burd
Just got onboard Freedom and found out due to the storm they canceled perfect day and Nassau. Bummed about perfect day. Going to Jamaica. I know they can't control the weather and they made the best of a bad situation. They refund port fees I believe, but do they do anything anything. dr martini
no use "trying to reason with hurricane season" you would make the same decision too with a huge investment like a cruise ship and priceless lives aboard, better safe than sorry. you'll enjoy a sunny day in jamaica, i know i would and it's better than outright cancellation. Ryan79
No they will not do anything else. You agreed that you are OK with last second port changes when you booked your cruise. They aren’t going to compensate you for a scenario that you agreed to beforehand Bob Burd
twangster
In the years before the shutdown they were in a better position to sometimes do something more like a token OBC on board. Since the shutdown they really don't have anything in the goodwill department fund to offer for a situation they didn't create.
