For those of you on this sailing, I noted this morning that the L1 Crown Loft Suite is currently the lowest priced full suite...costing even less than a Grand Suite. So, for those who may be interested in upgrading to a full suite, this might be a good time. There are currently many CLS still available (thus, the reason for the lower price, I guess). asquared17 Posted November 5, 2022 Report Share Posted November 5, 2022 hello! we will be with you! this was our first cruise booked post-covid (until we scored a screaming deal on odyssey in december) and our first time on symphony looking forward to being back at sea and maybe we'll see you guys at CK for dinner one night if there is room for us JS folks wish i could talk my travel buddy into the CL but we can't quite close the gap on the difference in price if it means we can go on harmony at the end of april for the same amount maybe a royal up will swing our way... Actually, we're in a balcony room on this one (just upgraded from our free inside room, yesterday) so we won't have the opportunity to go to the CK unless we score a RoyalUp, which is very unlikely. I just noted the price on the CLS b/c I hoped that someone on this thread could take advantage of it. We have a bid in for the RU upgrade to a CLS...but not holding my breath. My brother was booking a room solo to go with her but paying for 2 in a CP balcony was cheaper on a group rate he found, so I volunteered to let him pay my way I'm the driver too when I go and I'm trying to book my comp cruise with my boyfriend as my +1 so there's no easy way to just add a B2B to that sailing otherwise I'd do Wonder for it. I would do Odyssey but I want to get 7 C&A points for the comp and Odyssey only does 6/8 nights and they won't let me use it on an 8 nighter. So it's either down to either Oasis or Symphony at this point. I'd go out to New Orleans or Tampa if the itineraries were better. asquared17 Posted December 1, 2022 Report Share Posted December 1, 2022 was finally able to see RU bid offerings for this sailing and WHOOOOOOOEEEE. they are HIGH. we are fortunate to be in a JS this time around so we're pretty pleased with it, but always curious about the options. in the high five hundred for the grand suite and well above for all minimum bids for everything else. contrasting our odyssey sailing in less than two weeks and they were far more reasonable. i went online to do a ghost booking and was surprised to see that there is still a fair amount of suites available. wondering if we will see the rates drop at all as the dates come closer. asquared17 Posted January 14, 2023 Report Share Posted January 14, 2023 just looked and all categories other than suites are sold out this is going to be a full sailing i think!! the only cabins left to book are: owner's suite one bedroom GT one bedroom aqua theater suite two bedroom aqua theater suite star loft suite royal loft suite royal up still available and i wonder if chances are pretty good, given they haven't sold out the above cabins... My husband and I booked with Radical Adventures to do a catamaran sail and snorkel out of East Bay. They need a minimum 6 adults to do the charter. Right now it’s just my husband and I. We are leaving on Sunday for a shorty cruise on Grandeur; we will go home for 1 night and then board SY on Saturday, 2-11. Any ideas for a sail-away get together ? I’m honing my inner @Ampurp85skills. Watching the carousel riders. Mom with a creeper (this is what we call pre-toddlers…since they kinda creep around on the ground…nothing nefarious in that term, in this case) in a stroller. They pull up in front of the carousel; the mother bends down and says, “Tommy….you wanna ride the merry-go-round with mommy” ? The kid stares back up at mom and thinks, “What the f@#k is a merry-go-round” ? Translation: “Tommy, I want to ride this merry-go-round but I have to take you with me, ok ? If I leave you out here alone they will charge mommy with child endangerment and abandonment and Royal Caribbean will ban me for life. Besides, it would just look bad and people would talk.
