Ampurp85
For my upcoming cruise I went with a GTY room. I decided around check-in to try the barcode trick. When I scan I get a code but the last four digits can't be a room. Am I reading it wrong?
Looksee
Looks different to what ours scanned as - maybe you haven't been allocated a room yet?
OCSC Mike
That means you don't have an assignment yet. Occasionally, you don't have one at check-in, even with the barcode trick. Just keep checking. One tip off is that when you see a muster station, that means the barcode trick should give you your cabin assignment. The "GTY" after the dash will eventually change to your cabin #. Qeyton Dude and KristiZ
Woody14
I found that unless you see you have been assigned to a muster station the barcode trick doesn't work. As noted above it means that you truly have not been assigned a cabin yet.
Ampurp85
I thought my barcode scanner didn't work but I also assumed I wasn't assigned yet; I am about 18 days away now and was hoping to know at least the deck I would be on. dmattinson
On Apple Wallet, the barcode has the number right underneath it - that will update as RCL pushes updates for your reservation and should show the stateroom on the barcode in the format of 123456789-xxxx with xxxx being the stateroom number (1-9 is the 9-digit number assigned to you specifically for that sailing)
