Uncovered Parking at the Terminal in Port Canaveral

Has anyone parked on an uncovered lot next to the terminal in Port Canaveral?  My group will be riding a Ford Transit 350 to the Port.  Vertical clearance in the parking building is only 8'2".  I can't seem to get definitive info on this.

Off-site parking is an option but we would like to park at the Terminal as much as possible.

I know there is an uncovered overflow lot next to Terminal 1 but I can't tell you anything more about it as I always park in the garage.

Yes, I parked at an overflow lot before.  I was told it was employee parking but they use it for overflow.  It was for a Disney cruise.  I wonder if the Royal Terminal has the same SOP.

Suggestion: try calling the Port of Canaveral.  (321) 783-7831.

I tried calling this number before (for another matter), they did not pick up.  I think redialing for an entire morning makes me a pretty persistent caller. lol

Today, I tried calling it again.  Same experience

There are a couple of outdoor lots next to the garage that do double duty as overflow when the garage is full.  As a last resort there is also field parking overflow for when T1 is really busy.

Do you think they'd let us park our oversized van there even if the garage is not full yet?
