ElmoHongZito
I have a sailing coming up. Every so often the royal caribbean app on the iphone gives a notification saying “Flash Sale Ends Today” and I think its referring to excursions and/or other add-ons you can purchase. The problem is that when you click on the notification it simply takes you to the home page of the app. It doesn’t take you anywhere to show you any deals or anything. Is this a glitch or is this RCI’s way to try to get you to buy more stuff even though there really is no “flash sale”? Thoughts?
OCSC Mike
There is a cruise planner sale ending today. No idea how flashy it is or if you will find deals but there is a sale ending today. Just go to the cruise planner.

Don't worry, if you can't access the sale today, the exact same one will be wrapped up in new packaging and available next week! asquared17, WAAAYTOOO, TessOR and 5 others 3
AlohaLivin
It truly is amazing how much these prices having been jumping around recently. Sale, no sale, or during the same sale 🫤 We have a Casino comp 5 day in a balcony cabin that we added on to our existing 9 day in a suite during December recently and so I have been checking the key prices for the shorter add on. The price has jumped around from 29.00 to 26.99 to 2299 and back in 2 weeks time. I have also noticed random jumping around on a lot of the excursion prices for the second leg (more so than normal). If you’re like me and like to hang on to your money, it definitely pays to check pricing on excursions and the extras pretty often ✌ WAAAYTOOO and USCG Teacher
nferr
I'm cruising Nov.27 on Anthem and the prices for packages have stayed exactly the same for many months. The DBP is is $73 and evey sale drops to $67. The UDP is $228 and drops to $207 every sale if I recall correctly. Never varies.

I have gone so far as to keep a spreadsheet of what I purchase and check them every so often to get the best price. I have 3 cruises planned and they all have different planner prices, so the spreadsheet helps. I canceled and rebooked a shore excursion today saving me about 7% from the original price I paid. I have the Key too and am waiting for it to drop too (if it does). The only challenge with doing it this way is that I have to wait a couple of weeks for the canceled package to be refunded to my credit card, but 7% is a good return rate for 14 days of waiting for the refund.
