csrsue Posted October 9, 2022 Report Share Posted October 9, 2022 I had previously asked about Shore Excursion Group, but this is an updated question after some research.We are planning our June 2023 Alaskan cruise. Royals' excursions for Juneau are very limited. Two are sold out and the other few we are not interested in. I did see a company called The Shore Excursion Group which offers an excursion we would like to do, but when I researched a little more about the company, they seem to have a lot of complaints which has me worried now. KJones Posted October 11, 2022 Report Share Posted October 11, 2022 We used Alaska Shore Excursions for Icy Strait Point and had no issues - they have Juneau excursions as well. However, they aren't the company that actually does the tours - they sub it out to one of the local tour companies. Had we known we would have just booked directly with the local one! Have tours for Sitka & Juneau booked, and are just waiting on them to release 2023 schedule for Skagway. Royal did not seem to have a lot of choices that were of interest to us.
