When I asked the Loyalty Ambassador why, they replied 'No Pinnacles onboard so no Top Tier event...' Was a bit disappointed... This was a 5 night sailing on Adventure... CrznTxn Posted March 19, 2023 Report Share Posted March 19, 2023 We sailed on Grandeur last November with no Pinnacles aboard and still had the Top Tier event. The "recognized" person had around 500 C&A points and we only had about 30 people at the event as they restricted it to Diamond and above. It was great and we were able to talk to the Captain and officers one on one for the length of the event. Interesting that they would cancel or not have it since there are no pinnacles. If they normally allow other tiers, besides pinnacles, then the event is not exclusive to that group. If it is specific to Pin's then they should rename it "Pinnacle Recognition" or something similar. It seems that the pivot that the Grandeur did, mentioned above, was a nice way to handle the no pinnacles. Maybe on the Adventure they just used that as an excuse.
