dogs4thewin
I am in a wheelchair in public the vast majority of the time in public due to poor mobility as a result of a moderate case of cerebral palsy. My mom and I have noticed that in recent years ( we started cruising in 16) that there are not really any accessible excursions offered through RC ( especially for those of us who cannot make steps to get up on transportation and need assistance to take even a very few steps on uneven surfaces. Has anyone had any experience with this? We are going on a cruise on New Year's Eve and mom says this will likely be our last one which I am really sad about part of it is the cost, but the bigger part is probably the lack of accessible excursions. We would not be going on this one except that mom was not going to waste our FCC. Anyone else have this problem or know how to get a fire under their butt to do something. USFFrank
There are usually a few accessible excursions available thru Royals cruise planner. But very few, and they tend to fill up fast. It may be better to try one of the third party excursion sites and see what they have to offer.
