Booking next cruise

Slightly off subject...

You can book your excursions for a cruise you already have planned (depending on how far out it is), and receive a discount. We were onboard in April and booked some of our Oct excursions for 10% off.

So, you could book your next cruise, then head over to the shore excursions desk and ask about booking some excursions before debarkation.

The incentives are not great.. but I did love being able to sit down with someone and get instant answers. We were looking for 2 cabins across from each other and they found our ideal setup in a minute. So much easier than trying online.

Do you have to book an exact cruise? Can you book a placeholder and still get the same benefits?

You have to book a cruise for the maximum benefit; however, you can change it to another without any problem.  So, essentially, you'd create a dummy booking as far out as possible until you find the exact one that you want.
