ShineyThings
I am sailing on Symphony of the Seas at the end of September. When you leave your cabin and take your Sea Pass out of the power slot, do your devices continue to recharge? Or does it discontinue all power to your cabin - even charging? HeWhoWaits
Take an old hotel key card for the slot. Any old card will do. Pattycruise
Done
We use an old sea pass card from an earlier cruise. However, every time the cabin steward services the room he pulls the card up just enough to disengage the trip switch in the slot.
TXcruzer
On Harmony this past July, every room had a blank sea pass card “pre installed” in the slots and they were never removed. Allen2, RCIfan1912 and WAAAYTOOO
FoxboroCruiser
But do the outlets still have power? OP asked if the outlets still charge when the card is out and lights are off…I’m curious myself. Didn’t think o test that on Anthem earlier this year. The TV and outlets stay energized at all times. Found this in a previous topic from a few years back, and OP is sailing on Symphony too so it should fit the inquiry. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/9571-stateroom-power-using-sea-pass/page/2/
