Tia
Hello all! I am new here. I have just booked Anthem Nov. 13th of this year and I was excited to look at the planner to book some transfers. Lo and behold none of them are available. I wonder if this is common?? I am very disappointed. There are no excursions that I am interested in at Port Canaveral. I had wanted either the transfer to Cocoa Beach or possibly Disney World. Neither of them are being offered. Also, at Nassau, there is no transfer to Atlantis. What the what?? I emailed and they said that unfortunately they won't be offered but I can try to book them privately and see if they get enough other people. Sounds like too much work. I will have to skip Disney altogether and get an uber to find a local beach at Port canaveral and also in Nassau. Have any of you had the same experience? Thanks! Adriana
I hear you, I was hoping for some transfers, too. Yes, you can book them privately and it really is not much work. So many do private transfers and excursions. I am not one of them, though. I would be so scared that I would miss the ship!! If anything happens while in a Royal excursions, the ship will wait. If all of a sudden, there is a road block or whatever on your private excursion and you miss or there is an injury or whatever, you are on your own. Not common, but I just do not like the extra worry. The only time I would do it is if in a port I know well, like I lived in Miami and can easily get around and navigate. … Also, I would not recommend going to Disney. It is not near the port and you would have a very short time there as often, the 8pm time changes to 4pm. Just my opinion.

I don't want to spend hundreds on excursions so I wanted some transfers and I also would prefer not to go outside of Royal for the same reasons. I am about to spend a whole lot more than I wanted to. I just don't know why they list the excursions and now that I have booked I see they are not there They oddly added a transfer to a shopping mall in orlando... it's about 20 minutes from epcot but I do know they have a lot of traffic in the area. I am toying with the idea. I wouldn't really go on rides, I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid and I thought Epcot would be cool to see all the Countries. lol. So a few hours of checking it out would be cool, but then is it even worth the money? lol. But do you mean when you are at port Royal changes the excursion time while you are actually on the cruise? I am already seeing changes and it's very confusing.
