Katiemay0101
The Kids and I will be cruising to Cozumel April 2023 and I already know I will be doing a cruise in July 2023 out of Northampton, England. It's a very short 3 months in between. Do I go ahead and book the Northampton cruise now or wait and book while on the boat in April and hope for a heck of a deal? Is there some magic unknown thing where I book it now and talk with them while on the cruise and I get some perk I wouldn't have gotten without talking to them (I know, wishful thinking)? Keeping in mind I will need to book flights before hand, I would hate to wait, book the flight, try to book the cruise while on the boat in April and miss out on the July cruise. I may have just answered my own question but any insight would be greatly appreciated! Kate

Kate Hey Kate I hope you mean Southampton as Northampton is about 130 miles from the coast Enjoy wherever you are starting from!!
michaelp1446
BOOK now if its a price you are comfortable with... Prices generally will only go up. Next cruise prices are the same (for the most part) as current prices on website. Benefit of Next Cruise is reduced deposit and On board credit. The OBC will not make up for the fare increase 3 months from sail date. You can always reprice before final payment date if fare goes down. Use a good Travel Advisor ( MEI for example) and have peace of mind with Flight and hotel bookings! Enjoy the cruises! smokeybandit
Always book when you've decided that you want to book a given cruise. NextCruise won't get you better deals, just the reduced deposit and OBC. Now if you decide you are ready to book and you have a cruise coming very shortly, then that's one thing. But don't base your decision on when to book to try to time it with a cruise. PhillyLady
BrianB
I’ve done a few NextCruise bookings on board ship. I always check online to see the price before I go to the NextCruise desk and it’s always exactly the same as the price they offer. As commented above…the benefit is I pay a reduced deposit (for example…$100 instead of $200) and some On Board Credit. But…if I know I really want a certain cruise and cabin, then I just book it and then monitor the price for any drops.
