Safemike1
I am confused by the covid testing protocols. If I am going on a 7 night cruise, at present time, do I need to have a pre-cruise covid test? And does it have to be proctored? And how about if it is only a 5 night cruise? ChessE4
Royal has protocols depending upon your itinerary, when you depart, your age, the length of the voyage, and vaccination status. Go to healthy sail center and indicate where you are sailing from - you'll be linked to the protocols. Ramja
Matt
Which port are you sailing from? Are you (and everyone in your group) vaccinated? That will determine the answers to your question.
jeffmw
Another question while we're at it.... what's the cheapest path for pre-cruise testing people have found? I'm fairly certainly my insurance won't cover the tests unless they're requested by a doctor. So is the best/least expensive route the Binax proctored tests for $35 a piece? Has anyone had luck with anything else for less? [whole party is vaccinated]

This is what we plan to do. But you can also go to CVS/Walgreens etc and buy the OTC tests there too if you don't have any of the free ones left.
