Someone is now telling me RC says 2 for both.  Our PCRs are 3 days.  Will I have a problem?

This is the requirement for a sailing to Bermuda:

Quote

All Guests: Required Pre-Cruise Testing

Before arriving on boarding day, you’ll need to take a COVID-19 test on your own, at your own expense, to meet boarding requirements in line with local regulations for destinations on your itinerary.

Vaccinated guests must show a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 2 days before boarding day. Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may follow the testing protocols for vaccinated guests.

Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative test result for a PCR test (not antigen) taken no more than 3 days before boarding day.
Unvaccinated kids' pre-cruise test cannot be taken on boarding day, because that may affect the sample taken during the kids' test at the terminal.

Guests under 2 years of age do not need to complete a pre-cruise test.

According to this, we're 3 days, then they will not let us board tomorrow?  OMG, no.  Actually, only my son's PCR is correct then.

You should call Travel agent or Royal to get a direct answer and explain your situation.  It’ll be much faster and you’ll have an official response.

good luck.

Read the health tab in the app to see what your testing requirements are

This was your post in the NJ question
First cruise since covid tomorrow.  Have Bermuda travel auth's on phone.  Have PCR tests on phone.  3 vac, 1 child unvac.  Appreciate any help or advice.  1PM check in.

Did Bermuda require a PCR?    did you do what Bermuda needed?  Yes?  Good

Now look at Royal:

Based on what AshleyDillo posted, and if it is indeed what is in your health button on the Royal App then the vaxxed need to be tested because you tested to early.  That is an easy fix   Go to  onpoint-testing.com and  you can schedule a virtual test and use your own, unexpired test kits for your vaccinated family.  you can buy them over the counter.  It is a supervised (proctored test)

So that is simple enough to fix.  It is the unvaxxed one that would be a pain at this hour of night since you are leaving tomorrow since i belive they cannot test on sail date but the rest of you can!!

They're saying unvax is OK with 3 days ahead and he'll be tested again there.  It's us, vaxed, can't do.

The vaccinated need to have a test 2 days ahead. Vaccinated can even test the day of the cruise. Antigen are commonly available as rapid tests, so if you can find someplace that has those and test in person, consider doing that.

But as @Pattycruise suggests you can make the Onpoint testing appointment and buy some over the counter COVID tests from anywhere that sells them. Most drug stores and Walmarts even carry them. You'll take those tests while on a video chat with Onpoint and they'll send you official typed up test results via email.

It's very confusing with all the media noise out there, but Royal Caribbean's page makes it pretty clear what the testing requirements will be for on their Healthy Sail Center Ready to Cruise page at https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center/getting-ready-to-cruise

Everyone should be defaulting to that for the latest rules regarding testing and vaccination.
