Yes

Kids Sail Free applies to new bookings made between August 1 – 31, 2022 (“Offer Period”) on sailings departing on or after September 2, 2022 – May 25, 2023 (“Offer Cruise”), providing free cruise fare for third guests and higher who are 12 years old and younger as of Offer Cruise departure date on sailings 3 nights or longer booked in the same stateroom as the first two qualifying guests in a triple or quad- occupancy stateroom.

I can only choose 4 guests max and it says triple or quad occupancy so how do you get 3 kids free?

You have to call to get a quote for more than 4 or use a TA.  There are only a handful of cabins that can book more than 4. Those will show with a 5+ in a box on the deck plans.

I wish there was a way to see which dates offer the kids sail free.  I keep picking a date (not a holiday or “busy time of year”) and the offer doesn’t pop up.  The cruise I am booked on in September has the offer but I am looking for sometime in the spring of summer of 2023.  Is it just a hit or miss choice?

When I look at the mobile version of the plan a cruise screen, there is "exclusions apply" underlined on the lower right corner. That has all the specifics.

I believe kids sail free is only offered through May 2023 right now (excluding holidays). So that's certainly why summer is excluded. Not sure exactly when you are looking.

If we are two adults and 3 kids and pick a room that is 5+ would all 3 kids sail free?

Yes. We're doing exactly this on Oasis, and Kids Sail Free saved us a boatload (pun intended). You do pay Taxes & Port Fees, but their cruise fare is zeroed out.

That is why I asked it here as I couldn't price it out online and knew I had to call a travel agent or RC to book cabins that have more than 5.  Which is very annoying, Carnival lets you select I believe up to 5.  Just would be easier if I could book a party of 5 all in one room online.

Yup, and for RCCL the 5th person and up are assigned a different reservation number while being in the same room. This is likely why the reservations can't be made online for 5+. Super helpful.

Which again is a dumb thing about RC.  There are a lot of family of 5 out there and it would be nice if stuff could be done online.  I really don't like speaking with people over the phone lol

Another good reason to find a good travel agent!

Still have to talk to the travel agent lol

I am a techie so for me anything outside of being able to do it via a website is annoying to me.  Back and forth with a travel agent is annoying.  We just did two rooms this time as that looked to be the cheapest, but with Kids Sail Free I imagine one room would be the cheapest.  Would be nice to price compare cruises and rooms more easily on RC.  I used Costco this last time because I saved a TON of money.

I just send an email to my travel agent if i want to book a cruise.  She replies back with a price and a cabin number (or choice of cabins).  If everything looks good I just reply and she puts down a deposit on my card.  Works pretty well for me.

I guess I like to play around with options more.  See which decks have which cabins I may like and where they are on the boat and the different prices  Like how much extra is it to do a small upgrade or move locations.  Websites allow that without a lot of back and forth.

Yeah, i see what you mean.  I've done that too, and I agree it would be nice to be able to do that with all cabin categories.  I only have 2 kids so it's less of an issue for me.
