Club Royale Promotional Allotment

Recommended Posts

I had this issues about a week ago when I called and they said none available.  I went back into the website and i clicked on the redeem button on the website that shows your casino royale certificates.  I got lucky and got the cruise after i had called and they said they had no more allotments like you stated.  It can't hurt to try to redeem with the redeem button.  good luck.

Hi,

I just called to try to book a cruise from a casino offer, and the rep told me that they have reached their promotional allotment for the specific cruise. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this/was able to get the sailing that they wanted later on?

Yes, I have had this happen before.  The casino discount (or comp, depending upon the situation) are for a fairly narrow number and category of staterooms and when they're booked, they're gone.

Having said that, it would definitely be worth your time to call again and see what kind of answer you get.  It never hurts to double check....but if they tell you the same thing the second time, I would just accept that I missed that particular sale.

I've had this happen to me as well.  Probably a dozen times since June 2021.   I tried calling back and getting another agent (different days/times) with no success.   I haven't had any luck when I called back to see if perhaps there was a cancellation to slide in, but again no success.

Additionally had the same issue from Next Cruise desk.

I've had this happen. Sometimes, the balconies are gone and they put me in a OV or interior. This happens a lot on the Serenade. Most other ships, I am fine. I also try to combine my wife's offer with mine to get a Jr. Suite - that works half the time. Many times we end up with two rooms - one a balcony and the other an OV. Five of our cruises we brought 2 other people along and they paid their own taxes and gratuity. Up until the day the offer expires, they will work with you on various options. After expiration, you can still work with Customer Service Onboard to upgrade. RoyalUp is a path to a better room also.

What I've recently experienced... On my last three booked casino comps, they offered me only GTY rooms, with no actual assignment until sail time.  But... For an additional $200, they would assign a room immediately.  🤔

We had this happen on a new offer right after it came out. We were onboard and went to Next Cruise where we were told no room in the inn. We requested a "downgrade" to an ocean view cabin and were accommodated. We keep checking daily to see if any of the cabins are open that were in the offer and if so we will be calling immediately and be a pest to get the cabin they offered.
