Cruisin Dovers
Is there Verizon cell phone service in Puerto Costa Maya and Cozumel. Or at least texting ability since my wife and I are going on different excursions and need to be able to meet up before getting back on ship. twangster
That may depend on your current plan with Verizon. Suggest you reach out to them in case you have an older or grandfathered plan.
smokeybandit
The legacy carriers tend to include Mexico in their plans unless you have a super old plan.
KJones
Our Verizon plan has an international option that is either $5-10 per 24hr period per line. It worked just like our regular service back home - unlimited text/calls/data - and we had no issues with poor reception during our excursions in either of those ports. Jim5506
AT&T Ultimate users essentially get the same voice and data (unlimited) that is available in the USA throughout all of North and South America except for French Guiana and the Caribbean, of course data speed and reliability are local hazards and may be much slower and rarely 5G. loki007
we have verizon unlimited and didnt have to do anything on our recent cruise. when you get to port and your phone connects to the local network you should get a text from verizon saying if you use your device its $10 for 24 hours. We had several travel pass credits and didnt even have to pay the $10.
