The craziest things you’ve asked for and the craziest things that have happened. I’ve sailed star class twice with several more booked. my don’t: The genies are hard working people. Asking them for “crazy” stuff is just wrong - especially now. There have been many reports of genies having to quarantine causing the others to have to pick up more than their usual 4 or 5 rooms. The genie is there to facilitate your experience - book dining reservations and shows, assist you on and off the ship faster, etc. drdestructo, sammy79 and Neesa
tonyfsu21
I’ve sailed Star class twice and I seriously enjoy the suites but find the genie experience to be uncomfortable. I prefer to do things on my own. I did find that the genies respect this and it never turned out to be an issue. I always respect them with a significant tip regardless of the services that I decline. Neesa
Lovetocruise2002
Here are a few star class sailings (both pre and post pandemic) that I have blogged with some thoughts: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/10695-“i-dream-of-genie”-–-star-class-harmony-of-the-seas-–-031019-031719/ https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/27142-an-alluring-tale-of-love-…-a-blessed-25-years-a-joyful-return-to-the-starry-seas-allure-of-the-seas-12192021-–-12232021/ https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/29583-meet-us-at-the-oasis-the-majorstarclasstakeover-edition-oa-3132022/ https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/33005-“the-starry-neighbor-neighbour-chronicles-pining-for-the-fjords”-–-anthem-of-the-seas-july-8th-15th-2022/ Best advice, don't try to copy or expect someone else's experience. It will only lead to disappointment. Every genie is different and every guest is different. The same genie can hit it off with one set of guests and not another. It comes down to personality. Make it your own experience. And some offerings differ from ship to ship as well. I learned that during my very first SC experience. drdestructo, AshleyDillo, Neesa and 1 other 3
