CruiseGus
I know my connected spouse or domestic partner will advance in C&A status to the same level as I do even if they have not attained the actual individual points required for that level. I do know that a spouse who does not have enough individual points to be say D+ but who's spouse is at the D+ level will be a the D+ level even if they are sailing solo. My question is in reference to using the the DP340 promo code to obtain the D+ 150% solo supplement once you've passed the 340 cruise point mark. If I have actually attained 410 points (qualifying me for the 150% supplement) but my spouse only has 320 actual individual points, do they qualify to use the supplement based on my points if they decide to sail solo since we are connected in a domestic partnership? I'm sure someone here has experienced this and my know the answer or where I would find it.
twangster
Once a spouse is matched they will have all the perks and benefits of your points. It's as if they have your points. They will have access to the DP340 single reduced supplement based on your points total. If she logs into her account, her visible points should be equal to your points even though behind the scenes her personal counter will always be her actual earned points. It's actually the opposite. Logging in to the account shows actual points and status, behind the scenes shows actual status based on relationship. Her points show the same as mine. I justed checked, hers still does. YMMV

Ours showed different as well until I did the trick where I remove her loyalty number from account and re-added it back in. Then both our accounts showed the same number and status. Looks like a bug in their system where it doesn't update sometimes. If you call the loyalty line to complain they tell you to do exactly that to resync the linked accounts.
