Is there a cashier on the ship so if I wanted to break down bigger bills into smaller bills, I’d that possible or do I need to bring a stack of 1’s, 5’s and 10’s

It's easiest to bring a supply of smaller bills, but both the casino cashier and guest services are an option for doing this if you run out of small bills mid-cruise.

On our trans-Atlantic the casino gave us a hassle about giving us small bills and quarters.  They told us the casino cash was only for playing in the casino.

Insert large bill into slot machine, cash out, walk to cashier, ask for small bills and quarters......

Bring all the small bills you think you'll need.  No matter where you try to break down bills it is a hassle.  They only want to give you so many.  Every time I've tried to break a twenty at Guest Services they want to only give me 10 ones and a 10.

Heck that doesn't cover my wife and I's D+ drinks for the night.  I've learned to not only bring what I need but then to ration what I bring. YMMV
