PRMLVM
If we want to have an evening on our balcony, how would we be able to enjoy some cocktails? Does room service deliver? We have the deluxe beverage package, and I know we can bring back A drink...but can we get more delivered? Or bring back more than one? One trip will be sky class, and the other will be a suite on Brilliance (if suites/classes make a difference; still learning the ins and outs of that, now that we have discovered the suite life). Since we have already purchased a drinks package, we wouldn't want to purchase a bottle to bring back to the room. Looking to make the most out of both the drinks package and the balcony! wordell1
Unfortunately, no room service for drinks and you can't buy a bottle onboard. You are allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine onboard from home. Another suggestion would be to order a bucket of beer. PRMLVM
rjac
You can have wine or liquor waiting for you in your cabin when you get on board, which you will have to pay for. Log into your Royal account and go to your cruise planner page, select your initials in the upper right panel, scroll down to "Royal Gifts" and look for Wine and Liquor then select from there. Hope this helps. tjcruisers and PRMLVM 1
Rakaia
You can buy bottles of wine onboard to bring to your room. We did this (and our room attendant would supply us with an ice bucket). I know you said you didn't want to buy bottles but the drink package does give 40% off bottles if that helps... As for cocktails....perhaps get a few while you're out and about and transfer them into an insulated water bottle or something to pour out into glasses later? HeWhoWaits
The best solution for drinks on your balcony in the evening is to head to a bar, order the drinks, and carry them back to the balcony. twangster
Strategy for balcony drinks may differ depending on the type of drinks you are looking for. If you are thinking wine that is something that could be stockpiled by bringing some back from a bar earlier and making another trip a few time before settling in for a sunset. Some other types of drinks work for this approach. Otherwise it's a matter of hoofing it to the closest bar between rounds on the balcony. If you're using an unlimited package, yes the limit is one per Sea Pass per visit to the bar. If you're paying as you go or using Diamond vouchers, you can order more than one at a time per Sea Pass. CruisingNewb
By using "we," I take it more than one person. You can order drinks every 5 minutes or so. You and your partner get a cocktail. Pour it into your insulated beverage cup that you get on board. Walk to the next bar and get two more drinks. Go to your room and enjoy your beverages. That is how we did it. This never works for me......I tend to finish the drink off before I get to the elevator!
