whitsmom
My son-n-law turns 50 a few days before our cruise. I would like to have a cake or something one night during dinner. Is this something I can arrange once on board or does that have to be done prior? I would like to keep it a surprise. I know you can do something for the cabin decoration and such; however, I would rather do something special during dinner. DocLC
Just talk to the head waiter at dinner on your first night and he or she will help you arrange it. whitsmom and Browneyedangel

I will be sure and do this. I would like to do it on the first formal night as we are all dressing up in our finest that night! nandjas
Sooo...what if my soon-to-be-9 year old's birthday is on embarkation day? (SUNDAY!!! WOOHOO!) Any chance that they could do something special on that first night? We have my time dining, and have a reservation for 7 pm. Could I talk to someone right when we get onboard to get it set up for that evening?
DocLC
Either stop by the dining room after boarding or mention it to the person who is checking you in for dinner. You can also order fancy cake through the gifts department of you wish. Matt
