Bigken
On Monday the cdc said it’s dropping its protocol for cruise ships. And letting the cruise lines set there own protocol’s. They still are recommending Vaccinations and boosters. But leaving it up to cruise line as far as pre cruise testing. I understand one cruise line just dropped test requirements. If true. Hopefully rcc will do same. CruiserNic and MidwestIA

Ampurp85
Azamara but they still state that destinations that require them will have to be honored. It is the same wording as when Viking removed testing on European cruises. Kathleen

SewerUrchin43
Hers is hoping the pre-cruise testing gets dropped soon. Its the only thing that is causing me some worry about the cruise. WAAAYTOOO
CrznTxn
All of the pre-cruise testing hinges on whether the ports of call require it. There are several Caribbean destinations that do require negative test results to enter so the question will be if they allow the ship to dock without test results for all passengers, not just those who indicate they will be getting off. Once the destinations drop the test requirements to enter then I see all the cruise lines doing the same. It could be ship specific but it is easier corporate wise to require everyone to still have the tests if sailing in that region.
