ChuckK
Does anyone know if there are any complementary items at Fish & Chips or is it completely a la carte?
Ampurp85
On some ships they will have complementary options on others it is a la carte. There is a previous thread about it with menu postings.
twangster
Indy has no complimentary F&S choices while Ovation historically has.
CruisingNewb
My understanding is that it differs amongst ships. On Ovation, the only items with an upcharge were the fried candy bar, fried lobster tails, fried halibut, and fried shrimp. The free stuff, which included battered and fried cod/pollock, the french fries, and chicken fingers, were all pretty tasty, especially if you are one of the first customers when they open! By the way, on Ovation, the UDP worked for the upcharge items! Woohoo! Honestly, coming from a person whose wife is enamored with all things British, and having had a Nana from England, I know my fish and chips. We in the malt vinegar camp. That's how hard core we are. Fish and Ships offers a pretty damn good fish and chips considering its from a cruise ship and we liked it better than some of the fish and chips we had in Seattle and Alaska.
