scottb76
We are going on Freedom in January 2023 and as always will arrive the day before. Looking for suggestions from the group for hotel recommendations in Miami which we could easily Lyft or Uber to the cruise terminal the next day. Intercontinental or Doubletree Biscayne Bay are great and across the bay from ships CruisingOz
Lovetocruise2002
My first choice is always the Intercontinental Miami. It’s 5 mins by car to the port. CruisingOz
scottb76
I picked the Hilton downtown as it was next to the doubletree but offers 2 queen beds which we preferred. As nice as the intercontinental looked it was very pricey especially the resort fee of $30 which by the time we get to the hotel we will not be able to use. Fingers crossed the Hilton is just as nice as the doubletree. Anyone every stay at this Hilton?
Audrey V.
Lots of nice hotels downtown, but with MetroRail, you could probably stay in the Dadeland area with a heck of a lot of shopping and restaurants, and in the morning take the train and people mover to near the oirt, and then catch an Uber or cab. JC Pats
I stay near the Airport - Usually the Hampton Inn. The uber ride is 15 minutes and I save a ton of money.

We stayed here in March, we drove over the day before and they had a parking deck for a safe parking situation. The pool was okay, the food was quality albeit a little pricey. You could walk across to the Publix for any forgotten items. The hotel was clean and no nonsense, we could see the ships with the port view room. Easy short drive over to the port, no complaints this time. We stayed here due to be Hiltons Honors members and have no problem staying in the future. scottb76 and WAAAYTOOO 1
