Well we are not going to Bermuda tommorrow weather related going to Canada

Recommended Posts

Well just got a call from Royal saying because of impending weather we are not going to Bermuda but to Canada instead. I did not think Canada was taking cruise ships yet. Wonder what happens with the 80.00 dollars we paid to Bermuda to enter the Country. Oh well will be on a cruise ship for the first time since 2018 so roll with the punches.

Please let us know what does happen to your 80 dollars, we're scheduled on the AOS to Bermuda soon and will be watching.

Did Royal inform you about the ArriveCan requirement?  Is it still a requirement?

On Adventure now, we were only a 4 day-one stop-Halifax.

we did the arriveCAN app, no one asked for it

there will be a customs declaration form for Canada in your cabin -complete it and turn it in to Guest Services

some shops on land may require a mask so bring one with you

staff in MDR was amazing (despite being understaffed).dedicated staff snd entertainment. The ice show was AMAZING. (Wear a sweater)

Canada was a tad chilly except if in the sun.

We saw a whale from the dining room window tonight,  others have reported seeing whales and dolphins. Amazingly calm waters.

casino players report tight machines. No casino host table, they are locked in  room adjacent to the casino cashier.

no masks required in Bayonne or Halifax terminals,

If I were you, I'd go to https://www.arrivecan-canada.com/ and follow the instructions.  Don't jeopardize anything.

be aware that is an unofficial site and is not from the canada government. Arrivecan is free and there is no payment required like what that site claims

here is the official arrivecan form from the canada government:

Wow  that is pretty sketchy that a 3rd party website would try to get people to pay for the arrivecan forms.

Sketchy is a light way to put it.  I think it should be illegal.  I'm embarrassed that I fell for that one.  When I filled mine out in May, it was the official site and I had it bookmarked.  But, I felt that I will never need it again and deleted it, when I got back home, from my bookmark list.

Mirroring what @Pattycruise said... I just did a b2b going to Canada 2x.. filled out arrivecan form for both and the only thing I needed to get on and off the ship was my seapass card.  I had my passport and arrivecan code but they never asked for either at Halifax.

Canadian border patrol didn't even ask for our arrivecan today, unless it was linked to our declarations printout in which we scanned passports

When we drove to Vancouver, the border agent didn't ask to see it but instead said 'I already have it', so you are probably right.

Me too was on the June 4th cruise they told us we needed to fill it out before we got on the ship they never ask for it at check in or in Canada.

and your $80 Bermuda travel authorization, which was non-refundable by Bermuda...did RC reimburse you?
