Also booked on this, and first time to Bermuda. Any tips on must see things there?

the Caves are pretty cool if you are ok with small spaces.  Horseshoe bay beach and surrounding beaches are very nice and a blush pink color.  I may take a taxi to the beach if anyone wants to share a ride.  the transportation on Bermuda is kinda slow.

Unfortunately I am NOT on this cruise but am sailing to Bermuda first week of May on Norwegian Prima with friends.  Been looking at the weather (current and future) and it doesn’t look very warm.  Is low 70’s warmer feeling in Bermuda than those temps are on the East coast?  I believe we will just miss your ship as we should be docked from May 3-5 (although the cruise mapper says May 2-4!).  Hoping Norwegian is correct with their dates cuz we booked the Crystal caves for the 5th and would prefer not to do them on our departure day!

Hoping someone here can at least enlighten me a little with the weather so I will know how to pack!  I leave next Sunday.

Thanks!

Not to hijack this thread….but seeing “Bermuda” reminded me that, according to one of the dealers on Vision (I know….the most speculative sources of intel), Royal will soon be allowed to keep the casino(s) open while at dock in Bermuda.  Probably some payoff somewhere…

Vision will soon be moving to Baltimore so I guess they will be doing more Bermuda stops than they have done, in the past.

Did anyone else have Bayahibe Beach Break Excursion in La Romana booked? Ours just got cancelled without any reason given.

UPDATE: Just got an email 20 min later that they are closed for renovations which is a bummer this close to sail date.

YES!!  so annoying.  and of course now, all other excursions are either higher priced or sold out.

Yah there really isn’t anything worthwhile available. All the good things are sold out! Oh well looks like another ship day I guess

Either that or get a day pass at a local resort.  I found one for $80/85 that is all inclusive but i think it may cost a lot to take a taxi there and back.

or just walk around locally for a bit, go to a nearby pool or beach and then come back to the ship.

@WAAAYTOOO That’s been happening on the overnight cruises for quite some time. The casino opens at approximately 9pm, if I recall correctly. It was like that since before the pandemic. But we’re only there for the day on this cruise. I’m on a b2b so the next cruise is a five day with an overnight at Bermuda so I’ll let you know the hours of operation.😉

I just returned from a two night stay over in Bermuda on the Norwegian Prima.  Both nights the casino opened at 9pm and closed at either 4 or 5am.  I would assume any cruise line will keep those same hours?
