Ann613
I have heard that there are only 2 plug-in outlets in state rooms and that power strips/adapters are recommended. Now I have read that they are prohibited. What is true? Independence of the Seas.

wordell1
You can also get some European outlet adapters that will allow you to use the EU outlets that will be there. Spang1974

Yes ! Just be sure that your wattage is compatible. Using a Euro plug with a US wattage hair dryer is a good way to burn up your hair dryer ! SunnyDays
@Ampurp85hm. I thought something like this was acceptable? These new power hubs differ from what would be consider an original power strip. Which were always banned and got confiscated.
spursfreak21
Anyone ever taken this Anker charger cube? It’s advertised as “cruise friendly” see the attached screenshots.

I can't vouch if that one device you mentioned will or wont be accepted. The fact the seller calls it a "cruise power strip" is irrelevant in the sense ultimately if security says "no", then they'll confiscate it. I can tell you from experience USB hubs have no issues being accepted. JennyB
bobroo
A good rule of thumb is: If it has a cord, security is not going to like it. When you look at the tables of shame after your cruise, you'll notice that nearly every item on those two folding tables has a cord.
