chodnett
We're on a B2B on Freedom in June. Our check-in window for the first cruise opened today and we completed it. The next opens in 3 days. Do I still need to complete that? Our last B2B was in 2018, and I cannot remember, so any help is appreciated!
Ampurp85
Yes, you need to check-in for both cruises. Each cruise is their own reservation. KristiZ
Done
I believe the assigned checkin time for the 2nd cruise is moot since you will take of the in-person checkin process as part of the B2B procedures
Matt
I always do the check-in for the second cruise, but I'm not sure it really matters since the B2B process never asks for it. One of those "why not, just to be safe" kind of things. WAAAYTOOO
Done
Another B2B question: If doing a B2B to Alaska from Seattle we will need to complete the ArriveCAN registration up to 72 hours prior to our embarkation on the first cruise since our last port of call is Victoria, British Columbia. What about the 2nd cruise? We visit Victoria, BC again. Will we need to do it with 72 hours of our 2nd cruise? A complication is we are not purchasing a ZOOM package so we will not have access to the internet.

One of those "why not, just to be safe" kind of things. I not only check in for both cruises, upload passport and vaccine cards. I also complete the 24 hour before wellness check. This last time the check in person not only thanked me for that, but said it made everything faster and easier for them also.
CrznTxn
Yes, you will need to complete the ArriveCAN registration prior to embarkation. Do not wait until you get there. There are several posts on the blog of delays while people fill this out. Not something that is widely broadcast and was not needed last year on our Alaska cruise since Canada did not allow ships to stop there. The B2B process for the second leg is easy so do not worry about that, just check in for it as you never know.

I called and spoke with Canadian ArriveCAN people regarding our Back to Back cruises round trip from Seattle to Alaska with a port of call in Victoria, BC. I asked if we would need a new ArriveCAN form completed for the 2nd cruise. I was told since we are leaving Canada they consider the 2nd cruise a new entry into Canada and we would need to complete a new ArriveCAN form.
