Platinum benefits question

We recently turned platinum for our last cruise and I saw one of the benefits was double cruise points every time you sail in a suite. I just had a question of how many points would I get if I booked a 7 night junior suite as a platinum member?

That really isn't a status perk. Anyone who books a suite gets double points.

Double points in a suite applies to everyone, don’t need to be platinum to get them.  A 7 night cruise in a suite would be 14 points.

Thank you for that answer. I received an email that said as platinum you would get double points on a suite.

Thank you both for your replies. I wanted to be sure. The email I received welcoming me as a platinum member was a little confusing for me.

I believe before you are officially Gold in C&A you do NOT get the bonus point for booking in a suite, so they consider this a C&A perk for all levels.

If you look at this grid, you will see all levels get the extra point as an "ADDITIONAL BENEFIT."

Hijacking this thread to ask about the customizing the Emerald perk welcome beverages and snacks.

Is this something we coordinate with our TA or with Royal ourselves?

How far from the cruise can we do this?

(I tried going to RoyalCaribbean.com/UpgradePreferences as listed on the C&A pdf fine print but it just sends me back to my base account page)

Yes, sadly the online update option is gone. You have to call. Once you get through, it only takes a moment, if you've already decided what you want.
