First time cruising

Recommended Posts

For us...It would depend on the price of the package and the specialty restaurants onboard.  As for Nassau...We generally stay on the ship at this port but we have done the Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Swim and Beach Day.  Had lots of time playing with the dolphins...One of our favorite pictures was getting a big hug by one of the dolphins!!

Howdy, multi question topic..

Going on freedom in 27 days (for 4 days)…as a group of 6 (4 first time cruisers). Do you recommend upgrading to the unlimited dining package?

and… what excursions are great for Nassau?

Why not try the complimentary dining first to see what it is like?   Save specialty dining for your next cruise.   Restaurant choices vary by ship.  Or you could try just a couple of nights of specialty dining.

I agree with ChessE4. There are so many complimentary options available, even that can be overwhelming to new cruisers. I'd stick with the food that's already included, or maybe just purchase one or two specialty dinings to switch it up. They usually offer a Chops+1 package, which would be a good balance with a shorter 4-night cruise- you can do 2 nights in the Main Dining Room, and 2 nights of specialty dining.

Either way, you can't go wrong and your bellies will be full!
