nrgMike
Hi. Researching Bermuda cruises. What type of excursions are there to do there? Also, I see it's docked 2 nights in Bermuda. Do you need to be back at a certain time the first night? Never seen that before. Thanks Michael KJ777 and RCIfan1912

michaelp1446
If you enjoy riding on a beautiful sailing catamaran, enjoy snorkeling,, paddle boarding, kayaking or sightseeing (from the water) and some of the best Rum Swizzles on the island -check out "Rising Son II" shore excursion. We had 3 other couples with us and all said one of the best excursions they'd been on....YEMV RCIfan1912 and Kirsten

GaryAA
We used a Blue Flag taxi (certified guide) on our first day. We used a guy named Millard Lightbourne, an older gentleman that was very knowledgeable about Bermuda. We had him for 4 hours on a personal tour of Bermuda. The trip cost was reasonable and gave us ideas where to go on our second day in Bermuda. RCIfan1912
MaryS
When going to Bermuda there is no need to do any excursions through the cruise line. All the local businesses (at Dockyard), taxi, tour guides and water sport companies know the cruise schedules. The Island Tour Centre is a main excursion company located at Dockyard (cruise terminal). This is the website: https://www.islandtourcentre.com/. Another company is BDA Watersports: https://bdawatersports.com/ RCIfan1912
shof515
Check out KS Watersports: https://www.kswatersports.com/, they are similar to BDA watersports KS watersports has excursions out of the dockyard where the ship docks

I like doing it through the cruise line because they get you back in time even though they might be priced a little more. michaelp1446, WAAAYTOOO and MaryS
GaryAA
We usually book ship excursions too but the overnight stay gives you the flexibility to try something on your own the first day. MaryS

Cbb
We are going to Bermuda in July. How does the debarkation work when arriving at dockyard port. Can you get off as soon as you walk up or is there a formal dismissal process? Trying to figure out how early we can get off to book a boat rental. I see excursions do not start until 9:30 A. We loved it. Our favorite island. It's beautiful and the people are very nice. Prior to the cruise we had arranged to go on a local helmet dive, not through RC. My wife loved it, and has pictures of her with the fish that hang out there. I don't swim, and am claustrophobic, but I gave it a shot. Didn't happen. That said, we would both do it again in a heartbeat! Through this excursion we had gotten the name of a taxi driver, and arranged for a private tour of the island. Cost $200, plus tip. Again, we loved it. The only excursion we did through RC was a sunset cruise by Gosling's Rum. Also, fun, and the Dark and Stormy was our drink the rest of the cruise. Shari
All, I am on Celebrity Bermuda cruise starting Friday. They just changed the itinerary to have Bermuda first to avoid the extra testing per Bermuda TA. Curt From Canada
