Jailman
I don't smoke but I do vape and understand I must follow the rules for smokers. We will be sailing on Allure of the Seas in November and other than the port side of the pool deck for smokers, and the casino, are there other areas of the ship that allow smoking. SpeedNoodles
There is also an area on the running track (I believe it's port side), which is Deck 5. Jailman
Mark_A
I was just on liberty and it AMAZED me how many people were vaping wherever they wanted to, usually at bars such as the english pub and schooners. and one person who was vaping at the pub was complaining how people were not following the rules at adventure ocean!! CruiseMom82
Ugg I really hope that won’t be the case for us, or our first cruise may be our last.

EmersonNZ
Does anyone find it strange they often place a smoking section around the running track? As someone who uses the running track a few times a cruise this really annoyed me. Being as (not) fit as i am when I'm running I need all the air I can get and breathing in second hand smoke is not really helpful smakl70 and Kirsten

All kidding aside, I either walk around the promenade deck or just suck it up and go to the gym (ugh!) EmersonNZ
EmersonNZ
I've certainyl done the 'hold my breath and sprint' tactic. Reducing oxygen input during training is all the rage these days in endurance training
Irieman
From my experience walking and running on ships, there was no apparent smoking on the Oasis class running track. No chairs except a few in back plus I didn't see those ash tray receptacles in all my laps. They may have been there but never used. It's a different story on Freedom and Voyager classes for the deck 5 promenade. Always seen smoking with chairs to relax on the port side. Running is also forbidden by the signage as they want you to use the track topside. (which they cut off to make more cabins but that is another thread) Kirsten and Jailman

The smoking area is definitely on the pool deck only. It's the Freedom and Voyager class ships that have that covered outside deck where smoking is allowed on one side.
