Mindyl
Does an official Texas short form birth certificate and driver’s license work in place of a passport? We do not have long forms, only the official short form issued by the state.
Pooch
I know a short form BC cannot be used to get a passport as my daughters was rejected & it was state issued and had a raised seal. It just doesn’t have all the necessary information. I had to overnight her a long form one from our Town Clerk’s office. I don’t know if the same would hold true for a cruise. Matt
You need the original birth certificate with the raised seal, plus state issued ID. It only works for closed-loop cruises that begin and end in the U.S. Mindyl
TXcruzer
Fellow Texan here. No, the short form will not work. Go to the county clerk’s office and they will hook you up with the appropriate document. Pooch, Pattycruise and Mindyl 2
